Bravo Wellness — Participant Communications Refresh

In one of the largest projects I worked on at Bravo, I led a total refresh of 75+ wellness program participant communications, including updating existing materials and creating new pieces. In addition to physical communications, I assisted in email and SMS based content creation and strategy.

Before this project was completed, clients only received around 10 documents to promote their programs. These were all monochromatic and text based, with a few icons here and there. I was able to make the communications more eye-catching and added more engaging and interactive content.

Some of the key additions that were most engaging included foldable mailers, stickers, worksheets, recipe cards, and “quick tips” flyers. These all received positive feedback from clients and participants who were used to only receiving the bare minimum of materials like program guides.

Templates —

The refreshed communications package is split into two categories: program-specific content and health education content. The first category includes materials that explain to the participant what they need to do to earn the wellness reward, deadlines, and other important information. Because each program is different, the program-specific communications were intentionally designed to fit all possible configurations for wellness programs.

Whitelabeled Clients & Custom Pieces —

All 75+ communications pieces were designed in both Bravo’s brand as well as parent company Medical Mutual’s. Besides Medical Mutual, there were several Bravo clients that had whitelabeled programs. In those cases templates were either updated to that specific company’s brand guidelines or a new custom communication piece was created.
